satisfied

until today, i was always wondering what that huge wooden structure in downtown brussels was. on the second day, after arriving in belgium, sam, alan, thomas, and i ventured out into the downtown district, and stumbled upon this huge wooden instillation. at the time, there were no signs anywhere, no people gathered around the structure. it just sat there. i didnt think anything of it. i just took a picture of it and relaxed in the shade while we looked at the map to figure out where we would get lunch, which happens to be at la canardier, the best spaghetti i have every tried. but back to the wooden structure. this thing was huge, and it was weird that everyone just walked passed it as if it were the norm. but anyways here is one of the pictures i took of it.

i was reading dezeen and stumbled upon this wooden structure again. the name of this piece is cityscape by arne quinze.

for some reason, i feel satisfied.
